In a manual harvest carried out in the early hours of September 9, 2021, Joachim Roque selected the best bunches of grapes to produce Já Te Disse Petit Verdot, the family’s first Grand Reserve. After 24 months in French oak barrels and subsequent ageing for 12 months in the bottle, 877 numbered bottles of this unique and unrepeatable edition were made.
Tasting notes

Já Te Disse Petit Verdot Grande Reserva 2021 has an intense ruby color, with aromas of black fruit, hints of black pepper and liquorice.

The palate is voluminous, full-bodied with vigorous tannins complemented by good acidity, leading to a long, fresh finish.

How to serve

It should be served at a temperature of 16ºC to 18ºC

Harvest, Vinification and Ageing
  • The grapes were harvested in the early hours of September 9, 2021, dividing the variety into 2 micro-plots, differentiated by sun exposure and done manually, with the grapes being transported in 10 kg boxes to avoid crushing.
  • In mills with foot treading and pigeage.
  • After alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the wine aged for 24 months in French oak barrels and then for 12 months in the bottle.
